\"Is-Wilders-een-fascist\"<\/a>Henk Bovekerk, UvT-student (Liberal Arts & Sciences) werd voor zijn thesis \u2018Prototypical Fascism in Contemporary Dutch Politics: An Analysis\u2018, beloond met het hoogst haalbare: een tien.<\/p>\n

The PVV is a fascist party. The PVV exhibits political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline and victimhood. The PVV is a nationalist and anti-Islam party working in uneasy collaboration with a minority government of traditional elites. The PVV is a party striving to unite, energize and purify the Dutch community. The PVV is a party that is willing to abandon democratic liberties in order to protect the community from alien threats. The PVV is not a party of militants, nor a party violently pursuing internal cleansing and external expansion. But the PVV is a party that employs militant rhetoric and that proposes
\nexclusionary policies, e.g. to deny Muslims freedom of religion and to ban the Qur\u2019an. Paxton\u2019s \u201cshort handle\u201d of fascism fits the PVV very well.
\nThe PVV is a fascist party and its leader Geert Wilders is a fascist.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Geplukt van de PVV pagina, aangedragen creatieve oplossingen voor de vluchtelingenproblematiek. De mensheid zonder masker.<\/p><\/div>\n

Naar aanleiding van het boekje De Eeuwige Terugkeer van het Fascisme van Rob Riemen (2010) maakte Bovekerk een analyse van de PVV van Geert Wilders. Rob Riemen stelt dat Geert Wilders en zijn beweging het prototype zijn van hedendaags fascisme. Wat is eigenlijk fascisme? Is er inderdaad een terugkeer van het fascisme? En zijn Geert Wilders en zijn beweging het prototype van hedendaags fascisme? Op basis van het werk van historicus Robert O. Paxton over hoe het fascisme werkt, en na bestudering van de werken van onder andere Geert Wilders en Martin Bosma, concludeert Bovekerk dat we in Nederland inderdaad te maken hebben met een fascistische partij in een gevorderd stadium: de PVV.<\/p>\n

Veel mensen zien Wilders als redder van Nederland. Hij wint enorm aan aanhang met zijn verhaal over islam en vluchtelingen. De Facebookpagina Alternatieve Media Nederland<\/a> publiceerde onlangs een ingezonden lijst met punten waar de PVV zich werkelijk mee bezig heeft gehouden.<\/p>\n

Wat blijkt? De PVV komt helemaal niet op voor de gewone man.<\/p>\n
